Amazing small little restaurant with great food! Burger was HUGE! seafood was great. The coconut shrimp 🍤 was some of the best I’ve ever had and I’m being dead serious!

Most seafood places in tourist areas are just average or expensive or both. Cafe 776 is a no nonsense small place that serves up the best seafood at the best prices in Englewood. My wife and I waited for about 20 minutes to be seated and at busy times you might have to wait more. But it's worth it. The food is basic, the fish fried, grilled, or blackened, served with two sides. We both ordered the blackened grouper, queen size, ie two portions. Perfectly cooked and spiced just right. Our server Donna was friendly and enthusiastic, and the food delivered on time. I wish they had dessert, but they have a small kitchen and like to turn the tables to keep people from waiting too long. After seeing what others around us ordered I'd like to go back for the huge burgers or their coconut shrimp. Highly recommend Cafe 776.

Nice small diner with a big menu. The shrimp are ‘Uge!! The Burger was gigantic! The onion rings were supremely crunchy. Nice outdoor tiki bar for while you wait for a seat.

Most wonderful attention from our server - she was delightful! Biggest 12 oz burger made to order with fresh taste, fresh bun, fresh crispy (thick!) fries… best burger I’ve had in ages!!!

As always great food from one of the last of the old Englewood small time restaurants, someday all these will be gone which is sad. A couple comments, I ordered takeout for my wife and I at peak time on Saturday night which is not a great idea! I ordered fish kabobs with baked potato and Cole slaw, this is my 776 heart healthy go to or at least a little heart healthy. Perfect except the website said on Saturday you could get a half cup of soup which I got with a little confusion when ordering and ended up charged with cup of chowder, no big deal as it was delicious. My wife order a grilled grouper sandwich with fries and slaw. Giant grouper sandwich, perfect, nice Cole slaw but assume fries got over looked while packing take out bag, kids of a bummer. All in all great food just a couple small issues. Maybe just check your bag before leaving. We will be back as steady customers.

First time here for us...I had the fish & chips & they were your average fish & chips; nothing special...My wife had the jumbo coconut shrimp & we both agreed it was pretty good & the shrimp were indeed jumbo shrimp...

Great value! Nothing fancy, just solid good food and service at a good price. Had to wait 30 mins. to get a table(real small place), but has a nice Tiki with a bar which happens to be were you wait for your table. Not sure why they don’t …

We just wanted a burger and some fish and chips. We were more than happy with everything. It felt like a local getaway from the busy parts of town. Friendly service, great food and fun classic atmosphere.
